Automation, Electronics and Electrical Engineering granted scientific category B+

We are delighted to announce that the discipline of Automation, Electronics and Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Bialystok University of Technology has been granted B+ category by the Minister of Science and Higher Education pursuant to the decision DN.WEN.702.100.2022 of 26 July 2022.

The decision granting scientific categories results from the evaluation of quality of scientific activity of universities and research institutes carried out on the basis of the Law on Higher Education and Science and covering the period 2017-2021. The category is valid until next decision following next evaluation becomes final.
In the process of evaluation, disciplines may be granted A+, A, B+, B or C category.

The criteria taken in consideration are as follows:

• scientific or artistic level of the conducted activity,
• financial results of scientific research and development work,
• impact of scientific activity on the functioning of society and economy.

We would like to express our gratitude to all of those who contributed to this success which lets us retain the right to award scientific degrees in the discipline of Automation, Electronics and Electrical Engineering.
