Marcin Kochanowicz, assoc. Prof. optical fiber technology, contact
He works as assiociate professor at the Bialystok University of Technology. His research areas cover the field of fabrication and analysis of spectroscopic properties of rare – earth doped and co-doped optical fibers from soft and silica glasses. He is an author/co-author over 120 publications in this field. H – index 19. He has been a member of International Conferences related to photonics luminescent material engineering as well as RE-doped optical fibers. He has participated in 15 research projects in Poland. Collaboration with i.a.: Institute IFN – CNR in Trento (Italy), Institute of Photonics and Electronics of the AS CR, v.v.i., Prague (Czech Republic), Institut für Photonische Technologien, Jena (Germany). His expertise in the fabrication of soft and silica optical fibers co-doped with rare -earth beneficial for the purpose of the project.
