Neurofeedback systems means increasing the awareness of the examinee’s current cognitive functions. The examinee’s knowledge of his own cognitive functions provides the ability to learn, improve, and control the measured cognitive function. Main parts of the projected system are: Analysis and processing of EEG signals; Evaluation of the cognitive function based on the processed EEG signal; Calculating the control value based on the estimated cognitive function; Interpretation of the control value to the examinee. Cognitive phenomena that were examined were: attention, visualization, mental images, mental concentration, mental operations, neuroplasticity. In the current practice, this field of research is very small and has almost never been an object of interest by scientists in the fields of medicine, psychology, neuropsychology and similar branches of science. The technical advancement of the equipment for the analysis and processing of bioelectric signals of the brain created the possibilities for studying, analyzing and applying the cognitive abilities of man. This all creates the possibility for research, analysis, application and rehabilitation using measurement and information systems in this field.
