A laptop displaying diagrams stands nearby.\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"std\">Research works conducted at the faculty concern contemporary scientific issues, development of electrical and electronic technologies and their implementations. The scientific activity of the faculty staff is concentrated on:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"compact\">\n<li>control engineering, automation and robotics, control theory and diagnostics,<\/li>\n<li>power engineering and  renewable energy,<\/li>\n<li>theoretical electrical engineering, metrology and telemetry,<\/li>\n<li>industrial electronics and power electronics, control of electrical drives,<\/li>\n<li>electromagnetic compatibility of devices, High voltage techniques,<\/li>\n<li>signal theory and digital signal processing, Internet of Things,<\/li>\n<li>photonics, lighting technology,<\/li>\n<li>technology and applications of special optical fibers,<\/li>\n<li>parallel and high performance data processing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"std\">The faculty has some modern, unique laboratories, e.g. energy converters, automatic control, fibre-optics, high voltage technology.
