{"id":20033,"date":"2018-01-06T16:55:21","date_gmt":"2018-01-06T15:55:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/we.pb.edu.pl\/prace-i-egzaminy-dyplomowe\/"},"modified":"2025-10-28T13:04:41","modified_gmt":"2025-10-28T12:04:41","slug":"diploma-dissertations","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/we.pb.edu.pl\/en\/students\/diploma-dissertations\/","title":{"rendered":"Diploma Dissertations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--\n\n<p class=\"std lead\"><a href=\"\/en\/students\/dziekanat\/masters-thesis-topics-full-time-studies-thesis\/\">Master's thesis topics, full-time studies, thesis submission deadline 30.09.2024<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<hr>\n\n--><\/p>\n<p class=\"std\">The structure and requirements of the thesis are described in the <a href=\"https:\/\/bip.pb.edu.pl\/sendFile.php?inf=21199&#038;z=2\">Rector&#8217;s Order No. 25\/2024 (accessible PDF document in Polish, 365 kB)<\/a>, dated March 20, 2024.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>The student, after entering the basic information about the thesis and approving the statement in the <a href=\"https:\/\/apd.uci.pb.edu.pl\/\">APD System<\/a>, uploads the prepared thesis into the system according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.uci.pb.edu.pl\/apd\/apdstudent_eng.html\">manual<\/a>:\n<ul class=\"compact\">\n<li>one copy of the thesis in PDF (convertible to text) format;<\/li>\n<li>the second copy as an editable file, together with any attachments (including a scan of the Diploma Card as PDF and Statement on the use of artificial intelligence (GenAI) tools), packed into a ZIP archive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The thesis must contain:\n<ul class=\"compact\">\n<li>the title card;<\/li>\n<li>one page abstract in a contemporary foreign language (including the thesis title);<\/li>\n<li>purpose and scope of the thesis;<\/li>\n<li>a reviev of literature related to the thesis scope;<\/li>\n<li>determination of the work methodology and goal;<\/li>\n<li>solution of the problem (calculations, results of experiments, analysis);<\/li>\n<li>detailed conclusions and a summary;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Within 30 days after passing the thesis exam, the student receives a set of documents, free of charge:\n<ul class=\"compact\">\n<li>graduation diploma + its two copies in Polish language;<\/li>\n<li>diploma supplement + its two copies in Polish language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"std\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0em;\">The student can receive an alternative free set of documents, after <span class=\"b\">submitting an application<\/span> to the Dean&#8217;s Office. It should be done no later than one day before the diploma exam. The set consists of:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"compact\">\n<li>graduation diploma + its copy in Polish + its copy in a foreign language (English, German, French, Spanish or Russian);<\/li>\n<li>diploma supplement + its copy in Polish + its copy in English, or other language in which the study was conducted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"std\">The student can also apply for additional, paid (20 PLN each) copies of the graduation diploma in foreign languages (English, German, French, Spanish or Russian) and\/or diploma supplements in English, or other language in which the study was conducted. In this case a proof of payment should be attached to the application.<\/p>\n<p class=\"std\">Number of bank account for payments for additional copies of the diploma: <span class=\"b\">PKO S.A. O\/Bialystok, PL30\u00a01240\u00a01154\u00a01111\u00a00000\u00a02148\u00a07604<\/span>.
